The Goal:
The goal was to gather all club members and participants of different projects in Espaces in order for them to know each other and to share the information about their activities.
Methods:
As there were quite many clubs, different projects with their own description as well as just a historical overview to be presented, we chose to make a big PowerPoint presentation that would cover all the mentioned points and would present each and every activity taking place in Espaces centre.
Organisation and Implementation:
I have made a list of all the clubs and projects and wrote down the coordinators of each of them. Then I set a deadline and asked the coordinators to provide text and pictures that would present their club/project.
An “Espaces Presentation” folder was then created on our network, which contained subfolders for each and every club/project. This way everybody could work on their own, gather all the needed materials and then put it on the network and make it available for everybody. And of course in the end it was easier for me to have just one place where I use the information from to make the final presentation. While making the big presentation, I had to talk to each of the representatives to assure that the layout of the material they want to present is right. This part was quite hard as I had to assure that all the clubs/projects have more or less
Follow Up
Now the existing presentation is good basis and it just needs to be updated regularly every time there is a need. Furthermore, the content can be translated into other languages if there is need to do so. One of the Espaces centre collaborators has already made the French version of the presentation which has become a good way of presenting the centre at different events.
Attached you can find the French version of Espaces Centre Presenetation.
